A4GEN alternators certified for grid compliance under NC RfG standard
A4GEN alternators become well accepted option by genset builders. Recently, generating set with A4GEN generators were tested and certified to the “grid code” according to the NC RfG standard. The collaboration with grid is quite important feature for some applications. Not only parallel operation in isolated power plants but synchronization with local grid is vital part in advanced projects. Although the alternator itself does not need to be certified but should deliver the right performance and meet the requirements for the entire generating set test. Tests done for the ready gensets with A4GEN alternators were carried by the independent laboratory and ended with certificate of conformity.
New XAW feature for A4GEN alternators delivers 300% short-circuit current without PMG
Together with the production center in China we are introducing the new feature to the A4GEN alternators. XAW – it is Extra Auxiliary Winding to be available now as the new option for the whole range of the A4GEN alternators. This solution allows to archives shortcut of 300% nominal current on minimum 10s period without need of PMG installing. Up to now it was possible only with PMG option.
This solution has many advantages over the classic PMG. Please see below brief CONS/PROS table:
